I invite you into the world of NEWMAN — a dark urban fantasy that features immortality, the occult, apocalypse, cult families, magical items, gods, other dimensions, and gray morals.

One day, you might notice something out of the corner of your eye. Your body will respond with a cold sweat before your mind has a chance to register what’s happening. You’ll try to scream, but no sound will escape your mouth. You’ll ask yourself, “Am I going mad?”

And then you’ll see it – a strange silhouette across the street. You’ll blink and rub your eyes, hoping it will disappear. It won’t. The silhouette will turn into the figure of a man, with eyes that never blink; instead, they’ll pierce your soul and pull it out. Pure liquid fear will course through your veins, and time will stop.

With the world frozen, stuck in a thick mass of clear jelly, you’ll see a tunnel form between you and the terrifying figure on the other side. He’ll make you listen to the words he came to tell you; he’ll compel you to do things you never thought you were capable of; he’ll turn your world upside down, and then…well, then you’ll wish you were dead.

But first, he’ll whisper, “You promised.”
