Greetings, stranger!

My name is Mykhailo Vdovchenko. I go by Misha.

I am an author of NEWMAN an urban dark fantasy novel. It is available on Amazon.

I reside in modern Babylon, also known as Los Angeles – the city that always sins, where angels and demons enjoy each other’s company. I dwell in a tiny apartment between purgatory and an ice-cream shop, in the company of my feral wife, Kateryna – a witch by trade and a panther by night.

I am from the country of the Unconquered. I was born in the year of the tiger in the town of crossed roads, where you are invited to leave as soon as you have arrived. My parents were magical creatures of bad habits, self-poisoned by the pleasures of crystals and firewater. From a young age, I was granted full authority over myself, which I hold to this day.

I explored many trades and tasted all kinds of sorrows. A gentle touch of foreign violence sent me to the north in the year of the horse. I traveled the world and landed in LA five years after leaving my hometown.

I was always stalked by the Abstract in many forms – music, painting, sculpting, religions, meditations, acting, filmmaking, writing, and daydreaming. In the year of the rabbit, I gave up running from my destiny and wrote 20 pages of my first novel – Newman. Since then, writing has fallen in love with me, and it appears to be mutual.

Still, every night when I go to sleep, I die with a smile and a hope to dissolve in my dreams and never wake up, but alas.

I am a music-maker; I am a dreamer of dreams. Dance with me, fight with me, join my insanity, turn pages, laugh, cry, be furious, dissolve in dreams, disappear for a while; I made it for you.
